Dr. Michelle Eccles-Major grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Medical Technology. In 1987 she obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington D. C. She has been practicing for 29 years in both the United States and the Bahamas. She is a member of the American Dental Association and licensed to practice in the U.S. and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

Dr. Eccles-Major opened Rainbow Dental Centre in 1997. She continues to update her practice with the newest and most advanced technologies through continuing education courses throughout the year.

Dr. Michelle Eccles-Major has been a member of the Nassau chapter of the Links and Zonta International and also a mentor for Elizabeth Estates Children's home. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, crossfit and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Eccles-Major currently resides in Nassau, Bahamas with her son and daughter.
