Ms. Alvia Penn, our registered Dental Hygienist has always had a passion for oral health and helping to shape beautiful smiles. As early as age 7, Ms. Penn knew she wanted a career in dentistry and worked hard to follow her dreams. She graduated from the College of the Bahamas in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology minor Chemistry. From there she decided to further her education; in 2017 she graduated with honors from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.

Apart from promoting oral health, in her free time, if she is not in Eleuthera relaxing by the beach; she enjoys baking, trying new foods, traveling, and spending time with family.

It is with two decades of experience in dental healthcare, that Raquel will ensure your dental experience is unforgettably enjoyable. Her mission and goal is to assist you with every aspect of your dental care.

She sincerely wants you to obtain and maintain, a healthy and confident smile. Outside of dentistry, Raquel immensely enjoys her family life. When she is not with them, she spends her time listening to music, traveling and expanding her handicraft skills. Of particular note, she always attends the local Junkanoo festival and never misses an opportunity to support her favorite group.
